About the design

The Ruth Emma Fox Holding Things Together Design.

These everyday pieces of hardware have an ornateness that Ruth wanted to appreciate as well as the people we love who work with these small pieces of under appreciated genius. For Ruth these people were her Dad and her Grandad.

How and where it was created

These fine illustrations were originally drawn in Ruth’s studio by hand using traditional drawing techniques. The design was then screen printed and carefully applied to the ceramic piece by hand. Each cup has a fine, hand dipped glaze finish.

Cup proudly made in England with the design applied by hand by the craftsmen and women working in the historic Stoke - On – Trent potteries.
