Humming in the background of my portfolio pieces are the ever evolving drawings in my sketchbooks.
These drawings may not always be the highlights of my work but they often inform new designs and develop my way of looking at the world with new portfolio colourways, shapes and forms often stemming from these raw illustrations. I’ve decided to start sharing these more for a number of reasons. Partly as they feel slightly wasted sitting in my sketchbook on the side and partly as I myself as an illustrator often enjoy seeing the hidden illustrations that artist peers don’t always readily share.
