London Garden Museum Commissioned Illustration + Animation

Illustration and animation created from some of the collection highlights, this project brief required a sensitive approach to illustration. Capturing the items and their uses, considering their social and historical context.

This project required working alongside the head of collections, senior management, curatorial teams and Elbow Productions to deliver accessible illustrations and animation for public interaction. Licensed for ten years as part of a high-profile museum renovation project in the museum’s permanent exhibition spaces. The commissioned work is also available on the Google Culture app.

The illustrations for this animation were based on the collection’s Victorian Cucumber Straightener.
